First of all, I am having heart spasms from hearing that some of you don't know what a black & white is!!! It's only THE best 'cookie' out there. They are very 'New York', I guess, b/c its practically impossible to find one (let alone a
good one)outside the state.

You can click on the pictures to make them bigger so you can read the recipe. I highly recommend you push your sleeves up and try this out. I do recommend a splash less than 1/4tsp of the almond extract for the white glaze.
ENJOY!

Okay, now that's funny that so many of your readers didn't recognize a black and white cookie. I think it was Sinefeld-ized too.
By the way, the white glaze was perfect, but the chocolate glaze didn't set up well. We really need to perfect this recipe!
put me down to never having heard of it, LOL
It looks great, but it is still a tradition to go to NY for it. I must say though there is a Bagel place in Florida that makes them very close and they also may small ones. Sometimes for Bar Mitzvah they color them with white and blue

Can't wait to try them. YOu are a genius. How do you do this stuff, meaning put up a recipe and I click on it and it gets big enough to read.
