WHOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ok, I'm going to blog backwards. lol
First of all, C did our taxes in February and we found out that instead of getting a refund like we usually do we were going to have to pay about $2400!!! YIKES!!! NOT the news you want to get when you have a 'surprise' baby on the way and when you have already been spending the return in your head!!! So last night(nothing like waiting for the last minute), he got on the computer to actually file them... he decided to go over them one more time. Well, he had missed a paper that he needed to add in on the file and now the new results are that we are getting $8 back!!! PRAISE THE LORD! I'm so glad that we don't have to pay! We are totally doing the happy dance over here!
We were 'fun' busy over the weekend, as I mentioned before we had friends flying in on Friday night, and about 2 hours before they were scheduled to land, we had some NASTY storm!!! Our tornado sirens went off and everything! We got pea sized hail, but in another city they got BASEBALL sized hail!!!! HOLY COW! I can't even begin to imagine what that must have been like! Our friends made it in safely with only a delay of one hour.
Saturday we hit the zoo, but before we could enjoy that... I locked both sets of keys in the car! UGH!! What a moron!
Sunday we had an awesome church service (as usual these days) in the am, then since the weather was so incredibly beautiful, we hung out by the harbor and played in the fountains and took pictures, ate out and just totally enjoyed the day and each others company.
Monday we had another beautiful day so we putzed around at an outdoor mall and then ordered dinner in. All in all it was a great visit, nice and relaxing, I miss them more now then I did before!
The funniest thing about their visit though, was their 2 1/2 yr old absolutely fell in love with C! She wanted nothing to do w/ me at all! C had to hold her hand, C had to sit by her, C had to bring her things, if she wanted anything she would ask C. Way too cute, and way too funny! Totally showed me though, what a great dad C will be!

Well, that's all for now folks!

~Till next time!

See....God placed that little girl in C's life over the week-end to prove to him that little girls steal your heart. Just as little boys do. That was too cute. I am in total agreement that C is going to make a great DAD. Every day gets us a day closer to meeting the little one.
