Yesterday, C and I went on a free trip to San Antonio. We were flown down on a Southwest Airlines flight, had lunch on the Riverwalk at Texas Land & Cattle (YUM!) and then spent a few hours around town, then flew back to Dallas. All in all it was fun and exhausting. We took our good camera and got better pics of the Alamo, but
because we took our good camera we didn't get any pics of us together! Last time we got a great pic of us b/c I handed my camera to somebody and they snapped the photo. This time I wasn't trusting anyone! It was SO hot and humid though... I sweated through my shirt and had to buy a new one. C and I have decided that you should only go to San Antonio between Halloween and Mothers Day, that's when the weather is tollerable. I must have sat in the 'good seat' at the restaurant too b/c I had more steak on my plate than anyone else and of course I had to eat it all. The trip was from a radio station that was actually won by my friend, but she and her hubby couldn't make it so she gave it to us. There were about 60 other winners there. It was fun but a little weird, b/c C and I don't normally listen to that radio station. I'll attach a few pics from the day, but keep in mind they aren't the best...
Remember the Alamo! (it is so rare that we were able to catch this pic w/out people in it!)

C loves the palm trees and I love the water! Perfect combo for us!

Just a cool looking building.

Cool mosaic in the walk... I wish the shadows weren't there.

OK, that's all the pics for now.... blogger isn't being the fastest today.
On Monday, I leave for NY so I'll be blogging from there for the next two weeks! Hang in there Stacy... I'm on my way!

What a great trip! So what if you don't normally listen to that station - you were able to do something awesome!
