GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I had done this huge long post w/ a picture and everything and when I went to publish the post it took FOREVER and then the screen says this page cannot be found! Well, now I don't have time to do it all over so HOPEFULLY I'll get to it tomorrow!

Well, it's been a while now hasn't it?

here I sit in Texas, I never would have dreamed that I would be living here but oh well, I guess life is just full of surprises. I also never would have dreamed that I would hate my job at a scrapbook store. I've decided that I really would like to just be a stay at home wife. I like having the house clean and dinner on the table when Bean walks in the door. Call me old fashioned. We went back to NY for Thanksgiving this year, it seems that we will be going there every year for Tday. I really enjoy hanging with my family, Bean seems to as well, which is always good for husbands and in-laws to get along. We've decided to add a few days to our trip next year and go up to Niagra Falls. I lived in NY for over 20 years and never got there so it makes sense now that I live in Texas that we get to go there. There are a lot of things that I never dreamed of and one of them is that my brother would have 2 kids and be such a good dad. I'm so happy for him. Now I just wish that he would turn his life over to God and raise his family in church too. I wish I lived closer to them sometimes so I could have some sort of impact on their lives. I hate just sending presents in the mail and only seeing them once a year. Oh and if you pray, pray that the house in IL sells. Thanks! Have a great day!

It's H O T as Hades out there!!!

Ok, so I'm still in the St. Louis area and it is so stinkin hot out! Literally, reaching triple digits! The humidity is suffocating me! I can't stand it. It's even to hot to be in the pool b/c the water is so hot! How insane is that? Can you tell I don't take the heat too well? Give me a good ole snow storm. That is what makes me happy. I'm still trying to figure out how I will handle living in TX. Just the thought of the heat there.... sends chills down my spin??? I don't know, maybe I'll "get used to it"! We shall see. Maybe you'll read a future blog about how I hate TX heat. My poor dog doesn't even want to go outside, I have to shove him out the door. Well it's too hot to keep dwelling on the thought, so I'll go for now, but watch for future rantings....
