Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today you would have been 62 years old. There is sooooooo much I would love to share with you right now. I'd give anything to have another chat with you at the L-dock (that is no longer an 'L' but we still call it that anyway!) w/ coffee and buttered rolls from 7-11. I live in TX, I have a daughter (!!!)...
I simply can't do this right now... it all is getting me all choked up and teary, I'm just gonna go now and think about something else.

The new glasses

So here are the old glasses... this was taken at the VERY HOT San Antonio Zoo the day before they got broken.



and here are a few quick shots of the new ones. I REALLY like them on him. They look REALLY good on him when he is wearing his black suit, or any dark colored shirt really.

Because I haven't said this in a while....

My husband C is incredibly awesome! That is just all there is to it! He works full-time, he is enrolled in online college courses full-time, he is active in the music department in our church, he is also a team leader for the college and career group at church, he is so hands on with The Girl, he's helping me with a project that I took on but with my limited skills can't take it as far as I would like and he has spent a few evenings now up with me until 4am working on it, AND he loves me! Seriously, what more could a girl ask for???

This is for C: You rock! I wish everyone had a spouse like you, a daddy like you, a minister like you and a friend like you. I am so blessed to be on life's journey with you. I don't say this enough and sometimes my actions don't either but I LOVE YOU!!!
